Beginners’ Butchery Masterclass
A hands-on evening aimed at keen cooks or enthusiasts wishing learn some basic butchery skills, including cutting, preparing, and cooking — with food and frivolity included!
The class will last approximately 3 hours. 6pm-9pm
Maximum 6 people per evening.

Introduction to butchery and behind the scenes tour of the shop
Brief explanation on meat provenance/husbandry/welfare and grading
A demonstration on how to split a pig & lamb in to primal joints
A chance to make your own sausages and take them home
Basic butchery skills such as how to sharpen a knife and how to tie a butchers knot
How to prepare some kitchen ready products with Cooking tips
Refreshments throughout the evening and tasting and Wine to finish
Take home a selection of what you have prepared (approximate value £35)
